User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

when opening a *.exe file, I get the option "save to disk" but can't select "Do
this automatically..." because it's greyed out.

I'd like to specify that ALL .exe files ALWAYS be written to disk, so my
virus-detector can check them.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try to download ANY *.exe file
2. Look at the "Opening *.exe" window
3.

Actual Results:
I get the message after EACH download.

Expected Results:
allow me to specify that I want ALL such files saved to disk.
I have a "Print Scren" jpg image (14.6 Kbytes) of the offending screen - request
it via Email (kopfj@att.net) and I'll reply with it appended.

John, you can attach your screenshot to this bug using this link:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?bugid=273405&action=enter

Also, please provide a sample URL on which you see the problem. It's possible
that different EXE files are sent with different MIME types, so this might just
happen to affect all the EXEs you're seeing but not the ones I checked.

This might be related to bug 240230.
URL was: http://www.lenagames.com/bj_free/

(also appears on the screen-shot)

Yes, I'm seeing this too on Firefox/1.0, but NOT on a recent trunk build. So
this was probably fixed sometime along the way.
I guess it's a WORKSFORME, unless someone can find the duplicate.

I don't seen any dupes. Marking WFM.
