Almost every down load I have attempted has caused Firefox
to lock up - system cpu utilization is at 100% and Firefox 
does not respond. Other applications respond.

Expected Results:  
The down load appears to block some critical thread in Firefox. 
The down load should be lauhced in a new worker thread so that 
the rest of the browser can continue to operate
