Now that CZ makes /away states visible in the user list, it would be nice to
have the respective /away message available as a tooltip when hovering over the
user there.

Unfortunately we don't have other user's away messages available to use from
doing the automatic away checking. It might be possible to automatically /WHOIS
each user it turn, but I think you can see why that wouldn't work too well.

I somehow falsely remembered the away state being checked via /whois, not /who.
It could be possible to /whois only 'awayed' users, but that would still cause
lots of traffic. Just 'whoissing' users that have changed their away state would
miss changes of the away message...
No (easy/acceptable) solution here, it seems.
