User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10.1

The first page viewed in a new window (either by starting Firefox, opening a
link in a new window or clicking on a link in an email client etc.) is not added
to the history, so when you click in a link in the new page the back button is
still greyed out.

Clicking on subsequent links enable the back button but you can only go as far
back as the 2nd page, never to the page that was originally opened.

Opening a link in a new tab does not cause this problem and the problem was not
present in FireFox 0.9.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open firefox or right click on a link and open in a new window
2. Click on a link in the page

Actual Results:
Back button is greyed out

Expected Results:
Back button should be available and take me back to the previous page

Firefox used with default theme and no extra themes installed. Extensions
installed are googlebar 0.9.0.29 and Web Developer 0.8, although problem is
still reproducible with them disabled.
Please upgrade to 1.0 (0.10.1 is far too old to be reporting bugs on), and then
if you can still reproduce the problem of having the bug appear while Web
Developer 0.8 is disabled, file a bug on extension disabling: the "first page in
new window not in Back history" is a known result of the extension (see bug
267125), but I'd think disabling an extension ought to disable it.

You're right, this is 0.10.1. That's strange as I (thought I had anyway)
installed 1.0 as soon as it came out, I'll reinstall it as there may be a
problem with the instller...?
