After upgrading Thunderbird 1.0RC to Thunderbird 1.0 I have found that I am
unable to use Ctrl-S or File|Save As - I get an error message titled
thunderbird-bin ending with "ements, accept hard coded defaults.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
WFM Thunderbird version 0.9 (20041103)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select message in your inbox
2. Save message as an .eml file with File->Save As->File (or ctrl-s)
3. Accept the suggested name (which is the subject of your email) and press Save.

I also tried saving a message with a blank subject, but Thunderbird suggests
using 'message.eml' as file name and this works just fine.

Could you maybe explain in more detail the steps you use to reproduce this
behaviour? Size, format, subject of the message, name and location for output
file etc.

Tried again in Thunderbird version 1.0 (20041206), and it still works as
expected. Maybe it is a file/directory ownership problem?

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
