Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. In message search field, click the hourglass icon and select "Entire Message" 2. Mark several messages as "Important" (1) in an IMAP-based folder 3. Select "Important" in message view Actual Results: The list of messages is empty Expected Results: Display messages marked as "Important"

This bug report is very confusing because the terminology is mistaken: The dropdown box at the top selects a "MailView" (which is in fact a sort of filter, but it's not called a filter here); the other box is called the "QuickSearch" field. I can reproduce this symptom: in an IMAP folder, with Entire Message selected as the QuickSearch criterion but no text entered in the QS field, selecting a MailView other than All results in no messages selected. If text is entered such that MailView=All results in some messages, selecting a MailView other than All may display no matches or may show the list unchanged. Reproduced with TB 1.0, Win2K.

Seen with tb 1.0 on linux as well. Actually, the 'Unread' mailview does work on an IMAP folder even when 'Entire Message' is selected for the search bar textbox; the other mailviews I have defined do not. 'Search Exception' is printed on console each time.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5pre) Gecko/20091008 Shredder/3.0pre worksforme. This bug is reported against outdated versions of TB. In current nightly, doing STR, everything works as expected. Remaining problems, if any, please report in a new bug.
