Message views that filter messages by labels (Important/Work/etc.) stops working
if the selector in find window is set to "Entire Message" and when the mailbox
is IMAP (POP works fine).
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. In message search field, click the hourglass icon and select "Entire Message"
2. Mark several messages as "Important" (1) in an IMAP-based folder
3. Select "Important" in message view
Actual Results:
The list of messages is empty
Expected Results:
Display messages marked as "Important"

This bug report is very confusing because the terminology is mistaken: The
dropdown box at the top selects a "MailView" (which is in fact a sort of filter,
but it's not called a filter here); the other box is called the "QuickSearch"
field.
I can reproduce this symptom: in an IMAP folder, with Entire Message selected as
the QuickSearch criterion but no text entered in the QS field, selecting a
MailView other than All results in no messages selected. If text is entered
such that MailView=All results in some messages, selecting a MailView other than
All may display no matches or may show the list unchanged.
Reproduced with TB 1.0, Win2K.

Ever confirmed: true

Seen with tb 1.0 on linux as well. Actually, the 'Unread' mailview does work on
an IMAP folder even when 'Entire Message' is selected for the search bar
textbox; the other mailviews I have defined do not.
'Search Exception' is printed on console each time.

Build: Thunderbird version 1.0.2 (20050317)
I can reproduce this symptom as well. Thanks for looking into it.
