Running FireFox 1.0 on Slackware 10.0, there is no text displayed in frames on
some websites. The links in those frames work, but the text is invisible.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open FireFox
2. Navigate to a website containing a frame with text and links
3. Scroll through the site

Actual Results:
A gray box appears at the top of the page with no text appearing in it. There
are colored underlines where links should be. These links work, but there is no
visible text to inform the user what link to click. Below this, the rest of the
page displays no text, only occasional colored lines.

Expected Results:
The user is presented with text describing the links needed to learn about
printing and to download the proper PPDs.

This also occurs with the version of Mozilla that comes with Slackware.

The parts of the page that I think you're talking about are enclosed in .... Leaving aside the question of why
_linux_printing.com goes out of its way to specify MS Sans Serif, should that
selection of fonts pose a problem on your system?
After selecting custom fonts and then choosing to "Use My fonts" the pages
described in this bug report display properly.

Steps:

1. Click Edit/Preferencs/Fonts&Colors
2. Select fonts to use
3. Click "Always Use: My Fonts"

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
