Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Ctrl-F opens the find toolbar, but does not close it once it's open. After typing in a search query, I'd like to be able to close the toolbar with the keyboard instead of having to use the mouse. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Ctrl-F to open the toolbar 2.Run a search (or not) 3.Ctrl-F again Actual Results: Nothing happened; the toolbar stays open (naturally). Expected Results: Firefox should've closed the toolbar.

Ctrl-F always focuses the findbar (opening it if it's closed, focusing it if focus is on the page). To close it from the keyboard, just use Esc, (Ctrl-F then Esc if it's not focused), the same keyboard shortcut that closes all sorts of minor sub-windows. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 250587 ***
