A theme author should be able to specify whether the button images he/she defines in the skin .css part of the extension will scale to fill the button (e.g. not make themes with small toolbars grow their toolbar, and not appear on a tiny bit of the button for themes with large toolbars), or always have them at their original size, forcing the button to be sized accordingly. What happens now is, that since most themes don't include button images for most extensions, the default images from the extension itself are used, and this often messes up the toolbar/s. See URL for an example (incorporating the BiDi Mail UI extension from bidiui.mozdev.org/mail/ ).

This bug has been buried in the graveyard and has not been updated in over 5 years. It is probably safe to assume that it will never be fixed, so resolving as WONTFIX. [Mass-change filter: graveyard-wontfix-2014-09-24]

(In reply to Gordon P. Hemsley [:GPHemsley] from comment #1) I don't accept this strange logic.
