After minimizing Thunderbird's main window, you should be able to unminimize
(zoom?) it using Command-1, the keyboard shortcut for "Mail & Newsgroups".

1. Open Thunderbird
2. Minimize "Inbox for ..." window
3. Hit Command-1

Expected: "Inbox for ..." un-minimized
Actual: No action.

Note: Thunderbird's Address Book behaves as expected -- Command-2 un-minimizes
the Address Book if it's minimized.
Note that this only happens when "Mail & Newsgroups" is/was the frontmost
window. (I.e., Thunderbird works as expected if another window has focus.)
Thunderbird 2 has lost the ability to open/re-open the main window when it is closed using cmd/ctrl-w or when a user clicks on a mailto link in Firefox (it opens a new compose window in Thunderbird but leaves the main window closed, and there is no way to re-open, unlike with Thunderbird 1 where you can re-open using the Window menu).

To re-open the main window in Thunderbird 2, one has to quit and restart--clearly a bug.

I'd like that, assuming it's ok by Mac UX guidelines.

It better be, since it already works on the trunk :)
