When I open this page in IE, it fit in the screen without problem. But in
Firefox i have to make the font so little to make the page fit that it becomes
unreadable.

For me, the page fits on the screen with the only horizontal scrollbar being on
the div tag captioned "Microsoft Windows Installer MSP file information:" using
default font sizes at 800x600.

It does corrupt the footer, but then it is microsoft.com who are the last site
to be standards compliant.
