User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

When I attempt to navigate to a URL that is missing the colon after the protocol
designator (I type "http//www.mozilla.org", for instance), I'm redirected to
http://www.microsoft.com. When the protocol is HTTPS, I'm redirected to
http://www.paypal.com

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enter "http//www.mozilla.org" in the Navigation toolbar.
2. Behold.
3.

Actual Results:
I was presented with the content of http://www.microsoft.com

Expected Results:
warned me that the URL is malformed.
