User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; de-DE; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041108 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; de-DE; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041108 Firefox/1.0 This feed, which is ok with feedvalidator and all feed-reading tools I know of still seems to trouble thunderbird even in version 1.0. When adding the feed, thunderbird checks the full amount of items inside the feed (about 30) but displays only the latest item. Also then the feed doesn't get updated be it manually or automatically. This seems to indicate a major problem with the rss mechanism, that's why I felt the need to properly post this bug. I think the rss feature is a major part of thunderbird, and valid feeds not being read correctly is a huge loss in usability of thunderbid. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Add feed http://www.baka-updates.com/rss.php 2.Look inside the newly created Feed folder in thunderbird Actual Results: only 1 item present (newest), and later updates yield no change even if the feed changes. Expected Results: All items should be displayed (about 30) and new items should be added when the feed changes.
Bug is currently not apparent, this feed works at the moment.

This is a duplicate of bug264482, but it is legitimate. The feed fails when <link> is absent or invalid in a given item.

duping per comment 2. With TB 1.0+0222 (nightly trunk build) this feed is loading properly; I have not examined whether the symptom described (by the reporter of *this* bug) in bug 264482 comment 1 is still an issue. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 264482 ***
