itried with diferent's times and with differents accounts and don't work

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
Try to switch IMAP IDLE support off. If this fixes the problem, this is a dupe
of bug 243329.

If the problem occurs only with RSS Feeds, this is a dupe of bug 255466.

If this happens only after having Thunderbird open for some time, this is a dupe
of bug 173924.
Cristian Cudos: I have not encountered this problem thru many versions of
Thunderbird, under Windows. One thing that is required: you must complete an
initial check for new mail on the account before it gets checked on a timer.
Either you have to set the [] Check for new messages at startup preference,
or you have to check mail thru a user action (menu, toolbar, etc).

I didn't have this problem before our system was upgraded from FC1 to RHEL4. The
same Thunderbird 1.0.4 (unzipped from the tarball from mozilla.org, not the
RPM-based one from the distribution), worked on FC1 but doesn't on RHEL4. Any
suggestions?
