User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

I mistyped in the URL for a web page and was redirected to
www.centrixdirect.com, had been surfing for an hour or so on two or three pages
I look at daily, large popular pages, with no incident.

Now, I cannot type a website into the browser bar without it taking me to
www.centrixdirect.com. In the pulldown menu with URL's I have visited, the
redirected surfing labels all those sites as "Centrix Direct."

Ad-Aware, Spybot, HijackThis and Shredder of course don't find anything because
they're checking IE. I have booted windows XP in safe mode and scanned with all
of same with also no result.

It appears I picked this up at www.somethingfishy.com, which was mistyped by me
when looking for another site.

Thank you.
