User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

After updating to Thunderbird 1.0 the e-mail preview display area flickers. When
checking for "new mail" the flickering is constant and intense during the
process of communicating with the server. If idle, preview area will again
flicker if you mouse-over any of the menu bar buttons or a URL. The mouse-over
rate of flickering reflects a dramatically less level of interference as it is
more of an on/off toggling.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on "get mail" (very erratic flickering)
2. Mouse-over menu buttons or URL (flickering/toggle)
3.

Actual Results:
Flickering, pulsating, strobing, bouncing, fluttering ... consistantly.

Expected Results:
Should be a stable visual.
Are you using any theme other than the default?
Is there a particular message, or type of message, where you see this behavior?
