When this happens, Mozilla Firefox 1.0 seems to redirect the user to http://www.paypal.com. This has been verified on two different computers. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.type in http://https:// 2.hit enter 3.watch the horror Actual Results: It brought me to paypal's website Expected Results: it should have siad something to the effect of "The page cannot be displayed", etc... i cleared the page history, cache and all cookies. and tried it again with negative results.

It does a Google I'm feeling Lucky search, and paypal just happens to be the first result. It's the same as the many bugs filed on http://http, which sends you to Microsoft. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 231720 ***
