Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

Many websites place the "http://" in a url submission form without telling you.
if you put in "https://anysite.com" the result is "http://https://anysite.com".
When this happens, Mozilla Firefox 1.0 seems to redirect the user to
http://www.paypal.com. This has been verified on two different computers.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.type in http://https://
2.hit enter
3.watch the horror

Actual Results:
It brought me to paypal's website

Expected Results:
it should have siad something to the effect of "The page cannot be displayed",
etc...

i cleared the page history, cache and all cookies. and tried it again with
negative results.
It does a Google I'm feeling Lucky search, and paypal just happens to be the
first result.

It's the same as the many bugs filed on http://http, which sends you to Microsoft.
