It would be a dramatic improvement to Firefox to have the location bar flash/colored red when the displayed url and actual url differs. Would the Firefox developers consider this? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.install spoofed stick 2.go to test spoofed site 3.observe location bar color Actual Results: no change in location bar color Expected Results: location bar flash and/or turn angry red no theme

Looking the spoofstick web site, it looks like spoofstick protects against two types of spoofs: 1. http://signin.ebay.com@10.19.32.4/. Firefox already prevents this kind of spoof by warning *and* by hiding the username when displaying the URL in the address bar. 2. http://ebay.com.e-gold.com/ or http://www.cnn.com.nyud.net:8090/. In neither type of spoof does the dispayed URL differ from the real URL, so I'm not sure what you want Firefox to do.
