Thunderbird crashes if I close the window while loading a news feed item.
If I close the window after the website has been loaded everything works fine.
I'm using Thunderbird 1.0 (English).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

Unhandled exception at 0x0084c7fb in thunderbird.exe: 0xC0000005: Access
violation reading location 0x0000000b.

Disassembly:
0084C7FB test byte ptr [eax+3],20h
The same happens on another PC with WIndows 2000.
Bug still exists in Thunderbird 1.0.2.

please install and run a talkback enabled build, crash again and provide the
talkback incident id, a single line of disassembly is not going to get anyone
anywhere.

i'm not seeing any top talkback reports that describe this scenario. If you post
some talk back IDs we'll reconsider

bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a

you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
