type venkman in URL as shown above, Firefox display error (see image), Firefox
freezes, I must have nuke it to stop. Does not respond.

It has even crashed bugzilla while filing bug, when tried second time...

What version of Venkman? From where? In what version of Firefox? (1.0?)
I assume the infinite number of dialogs is because of the same problem ChatZilla
had - load events bubble in freaky ways. That can be fixed easily enough.

What I don't get (trying 0.9.84 from hacksrus.com in Firefox 1.0) is the actual
error. As a standalone window it is fine - even though there is clearly no
window menu.

Not critical because using Venkman in a tab is not supported.

If you could try with the latest version at https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/216/ that would be useful. I don't think it'd help, but it might behave differently.

I doubt loading Venkman in a tab will be supported any time soon, though.

WONTFIX - you'd almost certainly need chrome privileges to make Venkman useful inside a Firefox tab.  Silver's right in saying this is unsupported anyway.
