it would be great if there was a feature to export the bookmarks to IE (just as
we have the feature to import favorites from IE)
i mean, i can't just get rid of IE right away.. cos there are many sites that i
visit which are, sadly enuf, built specifically for IE :(
so , i need to have both IE as well as firefox on my system. and more ideal
would be the option to have the bookmarks synchronized. so any changes made in
either IE or firefox would be effectively changed in the other browser.

If someone wants to make an extension to do this, great, but having code that
exports bookmarks into IE favourites isn't something Firefox needs as a core
feature.
