User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; cs-CZ; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041108 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; cs-CZ; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041108 Firefox/1.0 If I specified more then one word in to filter on character set ISO-8859-2, this filter does not work - error message "applying filter filter_name failed". If I specified only one word, it's OK. Bad filter: Subject like "černý červený" OK filter: Subject like "černý" (only one word) or Subject like "cerny cerveny" (ascii) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Seems like close copy of https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=203783 And My experiencó is that Thunderbird (0.7-1.0 On Windows) filters just cant be enabled if filter name comtains Russian charachters, so It seems that any non- english letters in bag name generate error.

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter. exactly - the bug is still there in 1.5.0.2: working filters: aaa tüte ö non working: aaa tüte ö a error: applying filter <name> failed. would you like to continue applying filters? if a filter value contains more than one word and one or more of the words contains german umlauts, the filter fails. this only happens with imap but not on local folders (tried with 1&1, a german provider). i am using windows xp.
