I have Thunderbird on Redhat Linux 9. I have my email files from Outlook Express
from my old windows machine. When I select Tools->Import... from the menu, I
select "Mails" radio button. But in the next screens, I only get option as
"Communicator 4.x". How do I import from Outlook Express?
I think importing must be based on file format rather than OS. I feel the
developers have assumed that a linux version may never require to import Outlook
Express emails.
So how do I solve it ?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to "Tools->Import...". Click "Next".
2.Select "Mails" radio button in next screen. Click "Next".

Actual Results:
Only "Communicator 4.x" is shown in the selectable list.

Expected Results:
It should show me all possible clients from which I can import regardless of
which OS i am using.
Outlook itself is used to import the messages and without outlook -> no Import
