Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to b.m.o search for bugs (basic mode)
(1a. Choose Product->All?)
2. Enter some search terms (I used "help background")
3. Start search

The search ponders forever without displaying results. Advanced search works fine.

http://landfill.bugzilla.org/bz46296/query.cgi doesn't have the problem, so it
appears to be b.m.o specific
Severity: normal → major
Seems to be fixed now, though... Anyone else seeing it, or should this be
changed to WORKSFORME?
landfill also has a tremendously smaller database.  (2500 bugs compared to
275000 here).

The query you suggested runs in about 50 seconds when I try it.  It's
significantly faster if you do restrict it to a product.
