In Polish translation of Download Manager word "speed" (in download speed) was translated to "prędkość" and should be translated to "szybkość" Polish word "szybkość" is "velocity" in English. Some info in Polish: Predkosc jest wektorem ma kierunek, zwrot i wartosc. Przy transmisji danych mozemy mowic jedynie o szybkosci.

-> marcoos Hmmm, I'm not sure here because AFAIR "predkosc" is widely used here, even if it's not precize. (similar as font as czcionka, and font as kroj pisma)

First, I'd like to know which browser Mirek talks about, because Mozilla Suite AFAIR has the same translation, but if this bug is about Suite l10n, then it needs reassignment to GmbH@mozillapl.org, I am only doing Aviary l10n. I know Google is not neccesarily a source of wisdom, but googling for "szybkosc pobierania" (note: with the diacritics that Bugzilla is unable to accept) gives ca. 2000 results and "predkosc pobierania" - over 5000. :) For "szybkosc transmisji" its 28 000 results and for "predkosc transmisji" - 26 000. So both are widely used as the translation of "download speed" and "transmission speed". I don't mind changing this, but can anyone check how it's translated in IE6/pl-PL and Opera/pl-PL?

These two are really synonymous and used interchangeably across the telecommunications industry in Poland (e.g. by TPSA and Plus GSM). I am resolving this WORKSFORME, as the translation is correct (i.e. it's one of two correct versions).
