I tried to set up the Mozilla SQL Support component. I tried to download the
application (sql-i686-pc-linux-gnu-1.7-static.xpi)
The component Mozilla SQL Support had not been installed as usual.

Then I do not understand the other set up instructions. Is it compulsary to do
get the source and build it ?
To test the application, is it necessary to download all the files ?
Then is it necessary to run always Mozilla SQL Support with a command line ?

What are the detailed features of Mozilla SQL Support ? It is a kind of
PhpMyAdmin for Mozilla browsers? Any screenshots would be appreciated.

Did you install it in official mozilla 1.7 linux release?
No, I tried to install it in official windows 1.7.
Now, when I click on the link "Install" for Mozilla 1.7 / Windows, there is the
message : Not Found

The requested URL /pub/mozilla.org/extensions/sql/sql-win32-1.7-static.xpi was
not found on this server.
Yeah, some files have been renamed, but I don't have an idea why.

And can you tell us the correct filename and location to download, please?

Jan, these links now lead to a page that says the extension is incompatible or
no longer available. Is mozilla sql still a going concern? I would love to use
it, but can't seem to find any version of it that I can install. (Windows 1.7.11)
I'd say that this is now a WontFix
The SQL extension and component are no longer active.
