Details

RSS feeds always re-downloaded on Thunderbird restart. This is using version
1.0. I have 19 feeds specified and they all do it.

A sample few:
http://arstechnica.com/news/rss2.0.rdf
http://www.theinquirer.net/inquirer.rss
http://www.schneier.com/blog/index.xml

I just tried the latest nightly, but it wouldn't start :-(
It happens with every feed you have. And it also happens many other people using
Thunderbird 1.0. All messages of every feed redownload (duplicate) and even the
second one shows the webpage in spite of having set the program to only show de
summary. I hope it helps out to fix it.
i haven't been able to reproduce this yet.
Scott, maybe you should try Planet Mozilla on http://planet.mozilla.org/rss10.xml
I always have Ian Hickson's message repeated every time I start thunderbird.
