hey, ive noticed this the other day: 
when i d/l something from a high speed server(a modelingprogram from the
Amsterdam university server in this case) i get this: firefox displays a d/l
speed far higher then it realy is(i have a 2.2 MBit download so 300 kb/s should
be maximum)see here: http://www.peterlexis.nl/pieter/bug.jpg
its odd.. but i can live with it ;).. is just a report, have fun with it
