RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 128398

People

Details

As browser history - from the beginning of Time - appears as an underexploited
gem, I think it could be bettered by storing the referer (previous visited page)
along with each history entry. That way, the history could be rendered
"tree-like" instead of a plain list. Web statistic packages already compute
that to know the browsing patterns of visitors - I think users might find that
useful too.

Maybe browsing in a tree-fashioned way should be accomplished by an extension,
but I think that the problem core (storing the referer) belongs to the browser.
I'm pretty sure it already does (on the trunk), thus the How'd I Get Here
extension at http://www.squarefree.com/extensions/high/
Already fixed on the trunk.
