Type ahead find stops working properly from the third manually opened tab down.
This does NOT count the home page (when the browser starts up). It appears
that it still finds the items in the page, as evidenced by the fact when I click
"hilight" the search item is hilighted throughout the page. But it does not
find (blue-hilight) as I type. When the tabs are manually opened from inside
the browser, it won't give you the non-find color or sound, but if the tab was
opened by an external application (I only have experience with Thunderbird), the
items that are supposed to be found would not be and it would give the
impression that it can't be found by turning the color of the search bar to red.
However, when I click hilight, it will find and hilight the items still.
The important part is *manually opened tabs.* If the new tabs are opened from
links, it does not have a problem. And it also does not happen until the THIRD
manually opened tab. In other words, if you have your homepage open from a
fresh start, you will need to open 3 additional tabs manually (so total 4) to
see this.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open three or more tabs manually (ctrl+T)
2. Load sites in each tab.
3. On the last tab, try to find a text that you see on the page.
[4. Now, go to actual results, once you see that, come back and click hilight].
Actual Results:
The first result is not hilighted in blue. (when you click the hilight button on
the seach bar, it will hilight the results)
Expected Results:
It should find the first result and hilight it, and when I press F3, take me to
the next result.
The theme is irrelevent. I have tried it with the default theme, as well as
Littlefox and Microfirefox. I would say that this should be a major bug as Find
as you type is a major feature in Firerfox.

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01".
This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.
While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.
If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
