Details

After a few sessions Fiefox will start with the Profile manager, with only the
default profile listed. Choosing the default results in message of "profile
already in use". Only recourse is to create new profile, resulting in lost
bookmarks, preferences, extensions, etc.- i.e., a fresh build. Problem noted on
other forums with several other users.
I think this is similar to bug #253950, and may have the same solution, i.e. FF
simply crashed; but the "Choose Profile" dialog is misleading and will cause
even a computer-literate user to take the wrong course of action (creating a new
profile instead of rebooting).
