Description

Mac (2000-02-11-12 M14)
Steps:
1. Launch Messenger using Task|Mail
2. Select a message in any folder, delete it
3. From the Edit menu, select Undo/Delete Message, it undo(es) the Delete
4. Now I change my mind, I want to Redo Delete Message, I select Edit, but..

Actual: the Redo Delete Message is gray out. I select it, no response. I have
to click somewhere else to inactivate it.

Expected result: I should not have to click somewhere else to activate
redo/undo, I should be able to toggle both menus in a consecutive manner.

This problem occurs on Mac only. It happens in IMAP and POP.
And also happens to Copy and Move.

The dynamic command updating for Undo/Redo is not quiet working right. Need to
do more work on it.

Mass moving to M16 to get these off the M15 radar. Please let me know if this
is really an M15 stopper.

Not beta2 stopper, marking M18. Please add beta2 keyword if you disagree.

Luis - can you try this in the latest mac build and update your findings in this
bug report? Thanks

I just happened to be working on verifying another mac Undo bug, so I'll add my
comments here. This is still a problem using mac OS 9.0 with july 11 commercial
build (both POP and IMAP deletions).

*** Bug 49385 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
It seems unclear to me whether this bug requires either of a "developer" or
"user" release note for Netscape 6 RTM. If anyone feels it does, can they please
draft one and then nominate with the relnote-user or relnote-devel strings in
the Status Whiteboard.

Thanks :-)
