Kindly note that your summary and URL disagree. http://scoilnet.ie/ gives an unadorned error message. http://www.scoilnet.ie/ is the portal for the Eirean DES. http://test.scoilnet.ie/ may well not be intended for use just yet, and needs javascript off to access it, the home page being a notice of "Under Construction" The URL you provide needs javascript on and 'document.all'. You can probably get further info at http://www.ncte.ie/Broadband/PreparingforBroadband/

The point of putting the top level domain in the summary is to ease tracking of the issue, not provide a link to the problem. That's what the URL field is for. Tech Evangelism is kinda funny like that. See http://www.mozilla.org/projects/tech-evangelism/site/procedures.html#file-new This bug is about contacting that site and having them remove the (rather badly implemented) browser detection.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a6) Gecko/20041218 Firefox/1.0+ The site works fine, I went around everywhere.

The page that can't be accessed is http://test.scoilnet.ie/bproviders/ . Give it a shot with IE and you'll see that they do a check for document.all, and since Firefox's quirks-mode implementation of document.all is undetectable, it fails.

INCOMPLETE due to lack of activity since the end of 2009. If someone is willing to investigate the issues raised in this bug to determine whether they still exist, *and* work with the site in question to fix any existing issues, please feel free to re-open and assign to yourself. Sorry for the bugspam; filter on "NO MORE PRE-2010 TE BUGS" to remove.
