On the beta site i got this when trying to update my extension:

Error! The MinAppVer for Firefox of 0.7 in install.rdf is invalid.
Error! The MaxAppVer for Thunderbird of 1.0 in install.rdf is invalid.
Error! The MaxAppVer for Mozilla of 1.8a6 in install.rdf is invalid.

it's very hard to fix stuff when you're not told what the valid choices are.
Perhaps the error message should be something like:

Error! The MinAppVer for Firefox of 0.7 in install.rdf is invalid.
MinAppVer for Firefox must be between 0.8 and 1.0
Firefox 0.8 - 1.0, Thunderbird 0.5 - 1.0 (sorry about that, 0.9 and 1.0 were
accidentally missing.), Mozilla 1.0,1.4-1.8 (including 1.8a5 and a6, though you
might as well use 1.8 and not 1.8a6)

I will work on adding an FAQ that will list so we can reduce the overall confusion on both ends of the spectrum. This is way overdue. Thanks for the heads-up.

The FAQ was added a while ago. Resolving.

Reopen this if the FAQ is inadequate.
