To reproduce:
1. Sort by date
2. Group by sort
3. Click on last message in a group (e.g. bottom email under Today). The
message opens.
4. Click big red "X" delete button.

Now Thunderbird status reads Moving message to Trash... Usually this takes a
fraction of a second and Thunderbird displays the next message. Instead,
nothing is happening.

I am using IMAP and Thunderbird 1.0.

This problem does not manifest when deleting different positions within the
group. Only deleting the last in the group is problematic.

version 1.0.2 on Windows XP deleting the last message in a 'Group by Sort' list
when that group is not the last group the message window will not close on the
delete of the message (message is deleted though)

bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a

you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.
