User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041109 Firefox/1.0 (MOOX M3) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041109 Firefox/1.0 (MOOX M3) I had copied my profile folder from my old computer to my new computer. My downloads were set to download to the F:/downloads folder. I had tried downloading files several times, and nothing happened. The download manager didn't show any record of the file being downloaded, and I couldn't tell what was going on. When I checked the download folder, I then realized that it was trying to download it to an invalid directory. An error message saying that the directory doesn't exist would be helpful. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set your download folder to a new folder, like testDownload 2. Delete the testDownload folder in the file system. 3. Try to download a file from the web-site. Actual Results: Nothing seems to happen. Expected Results: An error message saying the file could not be downloaded, the download folder is invalid.
Sorry, I think it's a problem with my optimized firefox build. I tried it again on my co-workers computer and it seems to create the folder, even after you've deleted it.
