RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 229522

People

(Reporter: bugzilla, Assigned: mscott)

Details

If the folderview, folders/mailboxes are hidden if the file/folder-name begins
with a dot (".something").

It simply doesn't appear anywhere, but does exists on the "Local Folders"-
folder. Thunderbird does not load it at startup.

One solution for this, is putting a "-" in front of the file/folder-name. This
fixes it and does not show the "-" at all :)

[Version: Thunderbird 1.0 (selectbox is empty, so cannot set it myself)]
DUP of Bug 229522.
See also Dependency tree for Meta Bug 124287.

By the way, you say "begins" but Bug 229522 says "starting", and another bug
probably says "preceding", and other may "first is dot...", and... :-)

Weird... Had searched for the bug in the archive, but nothing came up.

But yes, it looks like the same.

Anyway, at least I could help other to use an alternative solution, until the
bug is fixed (by using the "-").

Thanks for your reply.
