The web link http://dar.linux.free.fr/man/man.php3?command=dar appears properly
in Firefox 1 and in ie (although I always hesitate to use ie), but in Mozilla
1.8a5 it does not format at all. The text wraps rather than observe the
embedded /r in the text.

Reproducible: Always

I have not tested this in the current stable build of Mozilla.
We don't support <plaintext>. That was obsolete back in HTML 1.0.

Sorry, I searched and didn't locate that bug.

Wonder if whatever is being done with Firefox to handle <PLAINTEXT> could be
folded into Mozilla?

Thanks for considering...
I'm seeing the same rendering in FF 20041215 trunk and Moz 1.8a5.

I may have been mistaken to dup this to 38176, but I still don't see a bug.
