This not so much a bug but rather a request for a website upgrade. Can you please indicate on the mozilla home page the difference between installing the Mozilla Suite or the separate products Firefox and Thunderbird. Are these separate developments or do they use the same code base? Is there an advantage to one approach over the other and if so why? Is it possible to indicate the version roadmap of all the products and where they coincide in order to know which is the most recent development? Thanks

sturges - see mozilla.org frontpage -> All Products -> Which software is right for me?
This item does not contain sufficient comparative information. For example which versions of Mozilla products support saving the history of sessions? What is needed is a table of all features and from which versions they are available in each product - simple. Also if a feature works differently [different code base] then its should be shown as two features.
I downloaded the latest build [in order to be sure of getting any relevant patches] and instead of getting the latest 1.7x got 1.8a6. There is no indication as to what level is being downloaded and what the latest versions are [on the nightly build page]. For me this makes a total confusion of versions and patches. Is there anywhere that states what bugs are fixed in which builds? Again a simple table, per version, indicating which bugs are fixed in that build. Also indicate in the bug from which version it is resolved. Though from what I can see most bugs stay bugs so it may not be necessary.

Mozilla Foundation has officially end-of-life'd support for the Mozilla Suite. Announcements have been made and the web sites have been updated. There is now a community project to maintain the code base under the Seamonkey name being hosted at mozilla.org. All product pages have been updated.
