Details

Mozilla mail allows the option of showing the count of messages and size of
folders.  This helps keep track of how much space you're wast...er consuming...
tools | options | advanced | general settings | show expanded columns.

Mozilla does, thunderbird doesn't
if you set this setting in thunderbird,

tools | options | advanced | general settings | show expanded columns

and then click on the little drop down that appears next to the folder name
column, you can add those columns in thunderbird. Honest. I've done it many
times since those are the settings I use in thunderbird.
Let's hear it for consistent user interfaces ;-)  OK, thanks...
one of the main points of thunderbird is that it has a different, cleaner
interface :-)
