VERIFIED DUPLICATE of bug 117222

Details

This feature proposes the following:

1. Ability to assign a namespace (defined by the user) to a cookie.
2. Ability to assign a namespace to a browser tab.
3. Ability to filter cookies based on the namespace assigned to the tab.

Example:

Many e-mail web sites (e.g., google) use cookies to identify a user. In the
absence of namespaces, the user has to logout and login again if he wishes to
login as a different user. This feature will let the user login to a different
account without logging out from an existing session. All the user needs to do
is to create two tabs, assign two namespaces, and login with different user
names from those two tabs. The browser will only search for cookies under a
tab's namespace. Of course, the filtering criteria can be customized.
