Details
When starting Firefox on an account other than the administrator's where the administrator uses Mac OS X FileVault to encrypt their home directory, the user will be prompted for a password to access files in admin.sparseimage. If the user cancels several times (4-12) then Firefox may eventually display a browser window. The administrator installed Firefox in /Applications and ran it before the user tried to access it as described in the known issues document for Firefox 1.0. After installing, it would appear that the only Firefox related files in the admin.sparseimage are related to the Full Circle error reporting. The folder is named "MozillaOrgFirefoxTrunkMacOSX2004121807".

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter. I have re-tested with: Camino - nightly - Version 2005092704 (1.0a1+), Firefox - Version 1.5 Beta 1; and, Firefox - Version 1.0.7 on Mac OS X 10.4.2 and am pleased to see that the problem no longer exisits. It still shows up on the Camino 0.8.4 release if anyone wants to see it. :) Anyway... glad it's fixed. I've marked it as resolved/fixed. (Hope that is the correct action)
