ok so this isn't EXACTLY a bug, per se.

but i have noticed that firefox 1.0 likes to crash more often than previous
releases. so i was thinking that it would be pretty cool if firefox could save
browser state every so often, at a configurable interval.

ie: you set a time limit and every time it passes, the browser saves the urls to
all open tabs to a file.

this would alleviate a lot of pain. i do a lot of research via the internet at
work, and i adore firefox, but when it crashes while i am comparing three or
four documents or reference materials, it makes me mad.

but if the browser saved state, either through a menu option, keyboard shortcut,
or automagically, this could all be avoided.

and i can't imaging i'm the first to think of this.

it would be yet another thing firefox holds over the competition.

and i must say it is the only thing i have ever wanted for in the browser.
besides this, it performs amazingly. it has been deployed across our entire
organization.
