(At least in builds dating back to 12/12/04).

Per the testcase instructions on
http://www.mozilla.org/quality/smartupdate/xpinstall-testinfo.html , I was not
able to find installed files.

Steps to reproduce:
(1) Visit URL link in this bug.
(2) Click f_addfile.xpi
(3) The XPInstall dialog comes up, click "Install" when it enables (about three
seconds later).
(4) Search your hard drive for files with "smrtupdt.txt" in the file name.

Expected results:
One file found.  It may be named smrtupdt.txt or localsmrtupdt.txt -- I'm not sure.

Actual results:
No files found.

timeless suspects this may be the fault of aviary-landing.

I've also observed this bug with jslib.mozdev.org's XPI's and with my own
serverpost and abacus XPI's.  Requesting blocking 1.8a6 because this is
functionality many outside parties rely on.
