Every time I try to select the extensions option under tools, it simply shows a
busy arrow then does nothing what so ever. I can't view, install or uninstall
extensions and I have tried unisntalling then reinstalling firefox 1.0 to no avail.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Click "Tools"
2.Click "extensions"

Actual Results:
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. :S

Expected Results:
Opened the extensions window.

This only started to happen after I had installed a few extensions, including
the "I must not fear" and the "egg" extension, the themes window still works
after installing some themes.

WFM obviously. Can you give more specific steps to reproduce? (starting from a
clean profile, which extensions to install, in what order)

This problem exists (for ex. see bug 261601), but nobody knows what's causing it.
Summary: under tools, extension option refuses to work. → Extension Manager's window doesn't open

OK, I believe this is the order I installed all of these extensions in.

and I think thats all of them, so after installing them and restarting the
computer, I load it up again only to find the extensions menu won't work.
And I've tryed turning off additional popup blockers and my internet security
to no avail.
Could you _make sure_, these extensions installed in this order break it? If you
do, please also note the method these extensions were installed (one-by-one from
the web, from HDD, all of them at one time).

Please make sure it's not that. I've seen a person whose problem was the
"additional popup blocker" thing, which he thought he turned off, but he didn't.

I'm pretty sure I installed these all 1 by 1 by downloads from the official
website, it wasn't until after I restarted the computer the extensions menu
stopped working, plus there is no way for me to check since I can't seem to be
able to uninstall the extensions now, unless theres a way I can manually remove
the extensions from the program files folder.

Ok, I've created a profile under the name of Mtpfreak, now what?
verify that installing the extensions you listed indeed breaks the Extension
Manager and try to minimize the set of extensions needed to install in order for
the break to occur.

I'm afraid that I can't, since I can't undo these actions and try again to see
what extensions broke it, since I can't open the extensions window and
uninstall them.
You can make it open by creating a new profile and reinstalling the app if just
a new profile doesn't help. See the link above and
<http://mozilla.org/support/firefox/profile> for information about creating a
new Firefox profile.

Now, are you sure you haven't uninstalled Adblock extension using Adblock's
uninstaller (and not the Firefox one)?

Any Tools > JavaScript Console errors?

Without more information this is WFM.
Sorry for the long delay, but I was able to find a solution to fixing the
problem without having to create a new profile.

I needed to run firefox in safe mode and then uninstall the "EggON" extension
manually that way, it was actually the EggOn extension causing this error, I
know this because when I tryed to update my browser there was an error updating
it, after uninstalling it I was able to install new extensions for my web
browser.

Does it work for you, does EggOn damage the extensions menu in normal mode?
