When I try to use Mozilla every website that I load is distorted to the point
that it is illegible.  There are lines running across the screen.

At the least you will need to report the version of Firefox and
give a URL or test case.

You should read http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/bugs and follow
all of the steps on that page if you want to use Bugzilla.

You might find it more helpful to use whichever of the support
mechanisms on http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/ appeal to
you, such as http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=38 .

It appears it Firefox 1.0 on Windows 98. This might be a problem with the video
card. What is the video card you use? Also, you can try updating the video
driver.
