RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 314279

Details

When using OSX (10.3, all versions), Firefox (and, additionally, other versions
of Mozilla) have a misbehaviour when dealing with "secondary" monitors.

As a laptop user, who uses his laptop sometimes as a desktop, I frequently hook,
and unhook, another monitor to the machine.

This seems to cause some problems with Firefox (and Mozilla). If the
mozilla/firefox window is moved to the secondary display, "overlay" boxes, such
as the history pull down in the url bar and alt-tag popups on images and such
appear on the primary display.

I've seen this on all versions of firefox/mozilla builds -- from way back in the
day, just finally gotten around to reporting it. (I'm a big slacker) This sort
of behavior also happens with thunderbird, as well.

How to replicate:
Start application in a "single monitor" configuration.
Plug in the secondary screen.
Drag application to secondary screen.
Use one of the "affected" features. (e.g., url-bar history browser 'zilla or
firefox, View: quick-search pulldown thing in thunderbird ), and it
should appear on the "primary" monitor, and not the "secondary".

Enjoy ;)
