I own the domain FireFoxForum.com. My idea was to develop it into something where people can just talk about FireFox and how much they love it. The idea was to have people come tell other web developers / normal people about addons that they love / enjoy and just generally talk about FireFox. Yes, the logo is being used in the header and I was unaware that this is illegal along with the domain without your permission. Would it be possible to get your permission to run this site? I also would add text to the site that states that it is no way affiliated with mozilla. I would just like permission to run the site. Thanks in advance, Ryan Amos
I'm still waiting on a response to this? May I please get some type of response. Thanks in advance, Ryan Amos

Dude, you may not have noticed, but yesterday was Christmas Day! To begin with, could you please remove the Firefox logo from the header? I'll have more of a think about this after Christmas. Gerv
I'm very sorry about that. I was not trying to be rude by any means. I will remove the logo from the header as you wish and will grant your wishes with the rest of your requests. Thanks again, Ryan Amos

I didn't think you were being rude - just a little over-optimistic ;-) Gerv
Hi again, I don't want to be rude by any means and don't want anyone to take offense to this, but I just wanted to update this to see if there was a type of 'bump' in the reports. Don't mean to be rude at all or rush anyone just trying to get this solved. Thanks, Ryan Amos

I don't know what you mean by "a type of bump in the reports". We're currently working on a document which will allow people to get permission to use the name "Firefox" in domain names. I'll let you know as soon as it's done. Gerv
Thanks for the update. I really appreciate it. By the 'bumps' I meant something like the bugs get moved to the top of the list as they are updated. Thanks again either way! Ryan Amos

We're currently working on a document people can sign in order to use our trademarks in their domain names. This would enable you to use FireFoxForum.com. As soon as it's ready, I'll let you know. :-) Gerv
Just curious if this is still in progress? Please let me know either way. I just don't want to have to worry about this anymore. Thanks, Ryan Amos

You'll be pleased to hear that we now have an agreement you can sign to get permission to do this. Thank you very much for your patience in this matter. You can get the document here: http://www.mozilla.org/foundation/trademarks/domain-name-license.pdf I apologise that it's only a PDF at the moment; I hope to get an HTML version up soon. If you would like to use a Foundation trademark as part of your domain name, you just need to fill in a copy, return it to us by postal mail, and wait for the reply. If you have any questions, please contact licensing@mozilla.org. Gerv
