Minutes, if ever. I don't usually have the patience to wait.

Also occurs with
http://www.isiknowledge.com

With the latter, hangs on "Waiting for images02.isiknowledge.com"
Have observed on multiple 1.0/XP installations.

Bug persists in Deer Park Alpha 1.

Problem seems limited to sites that are in the proxy server .pac file. Just
encountered it trying to load http://www.pnas.org with proxy settings at
http://proxy.hosts.jhmi.edu/proxy.pac

For the good of mankind, I will make password available to a tester for a
limited time; just email.

If possible could you create a log using the following instructions:

http://www.mozilla.org/projects/netlib/http/http-debugging.html

This may help in tracking down the problem.

Log created as follows:

-- waited two minutes, load still not complete
-- pressed STOP and exited.

I have the same problem. My PC has proxy configured. When I am AWAY from the office/proxy server (proxy server is unreachable), EVERY single page is slow. It seems to be waiting for proxy server to time out on EVERY request.

In contrast, Google Chrome only waits on the FIRST request, then the rest are fast.

This is Firefox 4.0 beta 6 on Windows XP SP3.
If one of you guy's can please post a snapshot of this bug I will try to work on it.
along the way we did some work making pac resolution much better.. given the age of this bug I'm going to WFM it based on that.. other than that, its probably inactionable without a new testcse (wontfix)
