Currently, when users face browser crashes due to misbehaved extensions, there
isn't much to offer them besides asking them to test a fresh profile or to use
safe mode.

It would be much better if Firefox had a MacOS9-like Extension Manager that can
be invoked at startup (by holding Space) and that can save and activate
different sets of extensions.

I'm adding back the previous summary to make this bug easier to find and
understand (without having to actually read the first comment).

Space is a weird choice - shift or other modifier is much less intrusive option
We're not going to implement this. Holding `option` opens the safe mode dialog, which is the desired mitigation behavior here.
